Apply Online for Indian Emergency / Urgent eVisa from United Kingdom

India has restored the e-Visa services for Great Britain ( U.K.) wishing to visit the country. The facility, which was available since 2014 for five categories of travel including tourism, business, medical, and conference was suspended for all countries during the COVID-19 pandemic and has not been restored for citizens of the UK and some other countries.

"Of course the big news today is that the Indian government are launching e-Visas once again," Mr Doraiswamy said via a video message on Twitter. The curtailment of e-visas and difficulties in obtaining visas had disrupted travel plans for Britons, including planned family visits to India.
